Job Summary

Position available in the Accounting Department for an established Building Management and Control System Company. Position includes all day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of jobs in progress. Candidate should be detail oriented, self-directed and good communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties as an Accounting Assistant:

  • Time sheet entry as well as recording employee expenses
  • Accounts Payable – coding, entering and processing vendor payments
  • Billing – monthly progress billing
  • Assist Accountant and Controller in various accounting functions as needed
  • Work with Vendors to assure proper application of Payments
  • Qualifications and Skills
  • 2-3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Sage 300 experience a plus
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Interface with project management team
  • Ability to work on a schedule and meet specific deadlines
  • Accounting education a plus
