Office Manager for Building Specialties Distributor

McClain Associates, Inc is seeking a candidate to work alongside its project managers, executives, and administrative assistant in a dynamic office environment.

Successful candidate needs to be effective at multi-tasking, neat, organized, with previous customer service and accounting experience, detail oriented, have eagerness to learn, good interpersonal communication skills, and a strong work ethic. Must be able to work independently, taking ownership of tasks, and follow up as needed. Computer skills a must, including experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Duties include customer interaction, project management support, AIA construction billing and contracts, maintenance of orderly records, personnel record management, project reporting, A/R, A/P, and payroll. This position is heavily based in accounting with some elements of human resources.

Knowledge of QuickBooks and AIA contract billing is preferred. Five years of related construction industry experience and a New York State Notary Public Commissioning required. Minimum of A.A.S. preferred.

This is a full-time, weekday, 8 AM – 5 PM position with benefits including health/life insurance, vacation, retirement, and holidays.
