Job Title: Payroll Administrative Assistant
Job Classification: Full Time Position with Benefits
Location: Victor Office
Overview: This position reports to the Payroll Manager at our Corporate Headquarters based in Victor, NY. Successful candidates provide payroll administrative support and have the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff.

This position will include performing various payroll administrative functions. These responsibilities/functions may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Gather and organize employee time sheets
  • Accurately input time sheet details into Timberline application
  • Review time entered by other staff members to ensure accuracy
  • Distribute pay checks/direct deposit stubs
  • Enter new hire information into Timberline, organize and scan documentation
  • Process Disability documentation
  • Sorting, copying and filing paperwork
  • Coordinate Background Check requests
  • Coordinate apprentice evaluations
  • Complete and submit unemployment request forms and employment verification
  • Any other administrative tasks needed within the department

  • Experience with MS Office and ability to learn company-specific programs and software
  • Construction background desired
