Rising Star Award Criteria

Builders Exchange is proud to announce a new award coming to the ceremony for 2025. The Rising Star Award will be given to a person who is in the early stages of their career and possesses high potential in the construction industry. This person will have a passions for the industry and commitment to community involvement and professional development. The Rising Star nominees understand that the construction industry is always evolving and recognizes the needs to foster innovative and collaborative environments.

1.  The nominee should embody the Builders Exchange cornerstone of “skill, integrity and responsibility” and serve as role models for the construction industry and our community.
2.  The nominee should possess excellent management and innovation skills, extensive experience, and demonstrate morality in the way they treat others, be it their clients, employees or others in the community.
3. The nominees must have been active in community organizations and trade associations, including the Builders Exchange.
4. The nominees must be currently or last employed by a Builders Exchange member firm in good standing
5. The nominees must have solid work experience where they made a significant, valuable contribution to the construction industry.  They should not be in a C-Suite position in their organization
6. The nominees should have completed professional development courses.
7. The nominees must have made a substantial, valuable contribution to the community that enhanced the quality of life in this area.
8.  Nominations must be received by Friday, November 1, 2024
9. Self-nominations will not be accepted

The Rising Star Recipient will be announced at the awards ceremony.
