Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated, qualified sales and customer service intern to join our team for the summer. Ideal candidates will be highly organized, have a strong attention to detail and strives to keep customers engaged with a helpful and positive attitude. This unique role will be positioned as our customers first point of contact. This position has opportunities to join our team in a full time capacity after the internship is complete.

Hours will vary between 7am-6pm for a total of 40 hours per week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Customer and potential customers first point of contact.
  • Answering phones and booking services.
  • Invoicing through Box Tracker
  • Liaison between Dumpsters Team and other departments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Learning sales tactics and building customer service skills.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in an office environment.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • CRM, experience a plus.
  • 1 year of customer service or related experience.
  • Strong communication and phone handling skills.
  • Fresh graduates or current college students are welcome to apply!

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds, at times.

Job Type: Full-Time Internship

Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
