Job Title: Lead Sheet Metal Estimator

Location: Rochester, New York

Position Type: Full-time Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain project bid schedule.
• Obtain bid documents from customers or other sources.
• Perform takeoffs from mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed estimates for sheet metal fabrication projects.
• Review estimates generated by other team members for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain customer relations, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service.
• Keep estimating software programs up to date with the latest commodity pricing.
• Generate duct fabrication submittals. Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sheet metal estimating.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and sheet metal systems.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interactions.
• Familiarity with Trimble Autobid SheetMetal estimating software.

Compensation:
• Annual Salary Range: 55,000-80,000
