Tool Room Coordinator

Our Tool Room Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing tasks to maintain an efficient, cost-effective tool program in support of our field operations teams. This position plays in integral part in ensuring tools are tested, inspected, maintained, and replaced as effectively and efficiently as possible. This position reports directly to our Tool Manager.

Responsibilities:

This position will include performing various functions including, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Receiving and processing orders from Forepersons and Project Managers.
  • Prepare and coordinate tools for deliveries to job
  • Receive and inspect tools upon turn in from job
  • Maintain and repair tools and equipment ensuring proper and safe working
  • Manage records for tool maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed, including warranty work with
  • Coordinate needs with other offices to share tools and equipment as
  • Utilize and maintain Tool Watch Software, including data entry and database

Required Competencies/Skills (not listed in order of importance):

  • Strong knowledge and experience with a variety of hand and power
  • Knowledge of proper tool use including safety
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Office, Outlook, Excel and
  • Proficient in document management
  • Strong communication skills including appropriate phone and email
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs/tasks
  • Ability and desire to solve problems as they arise with a positive
  • Ability to physically work in a warehouse setting which may require standing or sitting for long periods of
  • Ability to lift and carry 50
  • Commercial driver’s license a plus, but not
